The Clara dress has a soft round neckline, and charming flutter sleeves that add a playful and elegant touch. Made with a set of vintage place mats and a matching runner, that have the most beautiful hand stitched applique roses in warm oranges and yellows with accompanying leaves and branches. I was careful with the placement of the applique and tried to include as much of the original chocolate brown herringbone stitch into the design. The bodice fitted and lined for extra comfort while the gathered waistline gives the skirt a full, flared appearance. The buttons have been repurposed from pre-loved shirts.

Please note the fabrics have been washed on a delicate cycle before construction. Due to the nature of the materials please hand wash if you can, spot cleaning is even better but machine wash with caution if you must.
The utmost care has been taken to avoid any stains or marks however in the case it is unavoidable I try my best to keep them on the back of the garment.
