GYMBO G - Hungry caterpillar 3-4 years

Made by recycling a pair of denim blue jeans & a branded tote bag from a collaboration between Shrimps & Elemis gave me this lime green checkerboard canvas. All 100% cotton. The hungry caterpillar has been created using scrap fabrics, a mix of cotton & polycottons, to create his iconic face and wiggly segment body.

SIZING:

Sizing is very generously oversized with an elastic waistband. Designed to see your through some growth spurts. Many people buy these in their child’s correct size but they are generous and so need to roll them up to start with and once their little one grows they can drop them down and keep on wearing until the crotch area gets too small so they are made to last more than just a season. 

WASHING & IRONING:

Machine washable at 30 or 40 degrees but hang dry and shake them out to reduce creasing.

Iron with medium heat.

Do NOT tumble dry to protect integrity. 

FYI 

The appliqués have been sewn with a wider zig zag than usual and this is so there will be a natural slight fraying around to enhance the motifs. I thought this was very appropriate for the caterpillar as they’re often furry.

If you accidentally select collection but need it to be posted the postage costs £4.99 and an invoice will be sent to you for the shipping fee.

Please note that due to the nature of working with preloved materials, creating unique designs and cutting each piece one at a time I do not accept returns. I will happily exchange if the item does not fit so long as it is unworn and still in sellable condition as if arrived to you. Please reach out via email or DM via instagram.
