Star Appliqué Patchwork Pants 12-18 months

A super funky pair of pants made with 5 preloved fabrics. The green linseed print is a vintage fabric that I had previously made into a cushion, the oversized check is a brushed cotton preloved Tommy Hilfiger shirt, baby blue gingham cotton from bespoke preloved curtains, white and black pinstriped brushed cotton was a play suit and the red stars from a pair of jeans. I believe all fabrics are 100% cotton but I’m unsure about the vintage Linseed print fabric as it did feel like it had a very slight stretch to it which would make me believe it was more like 95% cotton. 

To add to this pairs grooviness I’ve added a baby blue polkadot ric rac ribbon down one side. 

Elasticated waist for maximum comfort. These have been designed to be oversized so they should be roomy often people will roll up the hem initially and drop them down as bubba grows. They should last a couple of seasons and as your little one gets bigger they become a little more fitted and can be cropped at the ankle the shape still looks fantastic! 

Brilliant for either a girl or a boy.

CARE:

I would recommend hand wash whenever possible but as a toddler mum myself I know it’s not always ideal so my trick is to pop things like this into a pillowcase and on delicate in the washing machine. (This is mostly for anything like a vintage tablecloth with hand embroidery)

* Wash with similar colours 

* Hang to dry, do not tumble dry

* Iron on low/medium heat

Made by me, a Mum in Kent/Surrey. I use preloved, remnant, deadstock materials. Mostly making unique clothes for toddlers and the occasional made to order/pre-order piece. I charity shop stationary like tissue paper & thank you notes.
